About Summer Deadlines

Summer Deadlines is a free tracker of high school programs, research, internships, and competitions, built for a San Francisco Bay Area high school junior. It focuses on high school opportunities and also includes programs open to grades 6–8.

Official sources

We use official program and host organization pages. Every listed deadline, cost, eligibility requirement, program date, location, and format has a source link, a short quote, and the date it was checked. Open “View evidence” on a program page to read the quote. If an official page doesn’t state something, we show “Not stated.”

Deadline status

We track the 2027 cycle. “Posted” means the official page states an exact deadline for that cycle. “Not posted yet” means we haven’t confirmed an exact 2027 deadline. An old deadline is shown separately and is never added to the 2027 calendar. “Rolling” and “Closed” are used only when the official page supports them.

Weekly checks

The operating schedule is a weekly source check. The checker flags page changes, missing quotes, and possible new dates for human review. It never changes a deadline automatically. The “Checked” date records the most recent successful check of that fact, not a promise that the program page has stayed the same.

Report a correction

The correction inbox is not configured yet. Until it opens, use the official source link on each program page to verify any details before applying.

Listings and sponsors

Anyone can suggest a program for a free listing. Sponsor placements help pay for upkeep. They are labeled “Sponsored” and are kept separate from search results and deadline ordering. See the sponsor placements.

Saved programs

Saved programs stay in your browser’s local storage. There is no account. Newsletter signup is disabled until a mailing service is configured. When enabled, it sends your email address to that service to deliver the Sunday deadline list.
